an even slightly loose wheel bearing can cause this problem, start with wheel bearing, then check tire wear, then check wheel balance, is the vibration in th steering wheel? or is it coming from something else. 55-60 shouldnt have any vibration. good luck..

just wondering if you found the problem? I have the same issue with my 1997 olds 88. I dont feel any play when I jack the car and try to move the wheel back and forth. mine is wearing the inside of the tire out prematurely and I can feel it in the steering wheel. Any suggestions on what to do?

I have and engine oil leak on a 3.8 l 1995 Olds Eighty Eighty. I have replaced the pan gasket. Still leaks. I have tried to see we the leak is. There are not leaks above the intake manifold.

Help?

clean the engine of all standing oil leaks, run the car 40 mile or so , then park the car on cardboard so the tires leave an imprint. then lift the car or match the imprint and look to see exactly where the oil is leaking from. problem should show itself easily.
