Default engine swap

i'm wondering if it's an easy engine swap. a 267 out of my 81/82 malibu classic sedan for a olds 350 68-76 block...i also have the transmission for it as well

You would need either 260 or 307 frame mounts from a 78-88 A/G body and preferably the wiring harness to make it an easy swap.

sorry i'm not sure what 78-88 A/G body is and do you mean the wiring harness from that as well or a wiring harness for a 350 olds?

The intermediate body (cutlass, Malibu, chevelle, skylark, grand prix) were designated A bodies until 1981 when it switched over to G bodies. If you can find one from 1978 to 1988 that has either a 260 V8 or a 307 V8 then all you need is the frame mounts (and corresponding new engine mounts) and the engine wiring harness and the swap will be butter.
