Intake Question
I'm in the midst of a carb/intake swap in my "65 425 engine. Going from the stock intake to an Edelbrock Torker w/ a Holley 4150 750cfm carb. I've been told that power gains can be obtained by blocking the exhaust crossover on each side. I have done this to a Buick nailhead engine while being rebuilt with good results. Both of these are toy/fun cars that don't get cold weather start ups. The Holley carb has no choke
anyway. If anyone here can offer insights, I would greatly appreciate your input. Thanks, |
