I just sent my 1987 Olds Toronado AM/FM cassette radio with graphic EQ and Premium Sound to have it repaired at Precision Radio and the folks there are not only very nice to deal with, but they're very honest and reasonable on their pricing. Also John won'trepair anything that doesn't need repairand make up some repair charge. He called me to say " I've got good news and bad news. The bad news is there aren't parts available for your radio anymore, but the good news is it doesn't need any parts!" He repaired a cold solder joint, replaced the drive belt for the cassette (thankfully he had that part),and cleaned and re-lubricated the drive mechanism all for less than $60.00! Everyone else on the internet wanted $149.00 minimum to $195.00 and over no matter what it needed. I got it back in two days and it works perfectly! I recommend them if you're needing any repairs on the following:
