I an restoring a 47 olds and right now I am trying to take apart the oil filter. It is a P700 series. Is there a removable filter media inside the housing or do you have to replace the whole unit? I have attempted to turn the nut at top of unit. I figured the lid would come off and the media could be removed. Any ideas or information would be appreciated.
