1949 Olds 455 swap
 

Hello! I finally got a 1949 Oldsmobile Club Sedan (fastback). its a 76, but the mechanicals are shot. my great aspiration is to swap in a 1969 olds 455 big block into it. has anybody done this before? is it difficult for a novice? and what transmission did you use? I know itd be cool to keep the stock set up and rebuild the engine and tranny, but I think it would be great to make a stock-looking olds and give it as much oldsmobile power as was ever available, really give it the Kettering-Power Rocket experience.
