1984 Olds 98 Regency Please HELP!!!
 

Hi there,
I own a 1984 Olds 98 Regency w/ 307 v8, Quadrajet, ect... Anyways I just rebuilt the carb, New Accel Cap,Plugs,Wires, Water Pump, Powersteering Pump, O2 Sensor, Thermal Vacuum Switch, Coolant Temp Sensor, PCV Valve, Vacuum Lines have been sealed and or replaced. I do have a 40 series FlowMaster SI/SO and the original Cat but i has been gutted due to the honeycombs inside falling apart to help flow better. I'm getting a Check Engine Code of TPS Sensor, O2 Sensor , Lean and Rich exhaust. I Unplugged the Battery and let it sit for several hours to clear ECM and still getting the light. My main problem is hard cold starts. I can pump it 3,5,7 times before i crank sometimes it will crank sometimes I have to keep pumping while turning over. Once its started at cold runs alittle rough lower idle. Once warm it seems to act as normal minus i think its running a alittle rich. Its not blowing smoke out once warm but still smells Rich. If there is any suggestion I would really appreciate it.

This is an old post but oh well.
Check the choke setting. There is a spring under a black cap on the passenger side of the carb. It controls the opening of the door on the primary side. If u have to replace it there is a electric choke that u can use to replace the original.
