I have a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue with a GM 3800 Series 2 motor. I’ve had trouble off and on with it idling like it’s missing. The problem is I could see at night it arching on one of the front 3 plugs so I replaced plugs and wires time went by and it starting acting up again so I though must be crappy wires. Replaced the wires worked fine for a while and it’s doing it again now on all 3 front cylinders down in the hole where the spark plugs are. What’s going on? I changed the front 3 plugs with autolite instead of bosh and still nothing. Any ideals?

First you need to put A/C plugs and wires back on the car, cheap crap from autozone wont cut it, the voltage from the ignition system is to high for their crap, and it is finding the path of least resistance. My cheap brother just went thru this same thing, |
I'm having the same problem with my 1999 alero. Put in new A/C plugs and wires worked for a week and went back to cutting out alot

havw you tried a performance wire, like a heavily insolated wire?
