need help. I am a ford guy who just got a 84 Cutlass and I would like to know if any parts from a Chevy will work on my 307. I was looking for a intake man. so I can get away from the q-jet. How many parts for a regular sbc will fit the Olds 307? thanks

Nothing on a Chebby 307 will interchange with an Olds 307. Nothing but real Olds parts fits real Olds engines (I'm excluding the "corporate" engines when they threw Buick, Olds, and Chebby engines seemingly at ranom into anything coming down the assembly line).


You can't beat a well-done QJet. Small primaries are good for mileage and won't load up on you like square bores will. The large secondaries give you more than enough top end. No street, just race? I'll point you to the Olds guy I know that runs mid 11s in a cast iron head, cheater cammed '70 442 with a QJet.
