330 Olds distributor
 

I have a 1966 Olds 330. with the 45 degree cam.Im wanting to know if a later model HEI dist. can be used? I know on 67 and later you can.

The lifter bank angle has no effect on the distributor so swapping in an HEI is good to go.

Thanks!! I greatly appreciate it. I had never had worked with the 45 degree 330 before.So I had no idea.I picked this engine up for $50 with a burnt piston.Every thing else was great shape.Couldnt let it go to waste.
