93 Olds Eighty Eight - runs cool?
Hi all.
I have a 1993 Olds Eighty Eight with the 3800 Series 1. My temp gauge reads about 120-140 degrees (spec has normal operating temp around 200 I think). I have had the thermostat and the thermostat housing replaced. The cooling system has been maintained routinely. The heater works adequately as far as I can tell. Is my gauge just wonky? And if it isn't, what else would cause the car to run so cool? Is it hurting anything to operate at that low temp? Mileage is in the 140k range.
