I have a 1995 Achieva S, that for years has had this rare intermittent problem of loses power (won''t accelerate with gas pedal) until is comes to a stop and dies out. Then I can usually restart it and it will either drive fine for 5 minutes then repeat OR it may restart and drive fine for 6 months.

PLEASE!!! I need ideas, a list of trouble codes and how to pull them, or BEST OF ALL an online Factory Service Manual (FSM)!!!!!

My wife is 5 hours away on a roadtrip and it is screwing up so I need some help terribly!!!!!

Thanks,

TJ

Thank you all ohhhh soooo much for your extremely fast replies and for lending some of your knowledge on an oldmobile car!!!!!

Just wanted to get back to you and let you know that I have been a member of other forums for many of my other cars and this is by far THE SUCKIEST ONE I''ve ever joined. Not even a single person even offered a single idea!! Only 11 people in the last 5 days have even viewed my cry for help to rescue my wife who was stranded 5 hours into Texas.

This forum can kiss my *** goodbye, and I won''t regret saying this, because no one here even offered to help when I needed it most!!!

See ya, geeky little no-helping self-absorbed wish-you-had-a-good-car *******!!!
