I bought my daughter a 99 intrigue a few months ago. I had to replace a few things, but all in all it hasn't been too bad.

Yesterday she comlpained to her mom that the car started hard and when she went to take off, it would hesitate and then jolt (a small jolt) forward.

Last night, she left the windows and sunroof open when she went to bed. When we woke up this morning, there was a significant amount of condensation over the interior of her car. Thankfully it didn't rain. When she went out to move it out of the way this afternoon, the battery was dead, so we jumped it and it fired right up. We let it run for a while before shutting it off, but when she went back out later the battery was dead again.

I noticed that the bell was dinging with the door open and no keys in the ignition. I pulled some fuses to try to narrow down the possibilities and the bell stopped when I pulled out the ABS/BCM fuse. I put it back in and tried to jump it again, but this time it didn't start. No click or obvious current draw or anything. (We also noticed that the temp gauge somehow pegged out behind the high stop.)

Is it possible that I damaged the BCM by pulling the fuse out? Any other ideas?

Oh, and the engine light has been on, but the previous owner had it checked and was told it was the gas cap. The ABS has not come on at all according to my daughter.
