IT WOULD BE HARD TO TELL YOU WHICH TIRE TO BUY IN YOUR MARKET. GO TO MORE THAN ONE TIRE DEALER AND ASK THE PRICE AND TREAD RATING FOR MORE THAN ONE TIRE. IF YOU ARE GOING TO KEEP THE CAR GO FOR A TIRE WITH A READ RATING OF MORE THAN 400, THE HIGHER TREAD RATING THE MORE MILEAGE YOU WILL RECIEVE FROM THE TIRE. NOW. COMPARE PRICE WITH TREAD RATING AND BUY THE TIRE THAT GIVES YOU THE HIGHEST RATING FOR THE DOLLARS SPENT. NOW THAT SAID I HAVE FOUND THAT UNIROYAL GIVES THE HIGHEST TREAD RATING FOR THE BUCK. UNIROYAL IS A PART OF MICHELIN. REMEMBER TREAD RATING V/S BUCK.. COMPARE TOTAL PRICE SOME DEALERS WILL ZONK YOU WITH ADDONS....

Matt,

Having lived in England for 6 years (in the 70s and 80s), I can tell you thatwhatever I tell you would be worthless.Very few tire brands/series are the same here and there. Try an "all England" board. Wouldn't even have to be Oldsmobile...just big cars.

Good luck.
