fuel pump? quadrajet?

my fuel pump is a dual feed, my carburetor is a quadrajet, where does the second feed go? should i get a single feed fuel pump? the car falls flat on it's face if you put your foot down lol

Can you get a picture of it? There were no factory dual feed pumps. If there are two outputs I would think one could be for a return line.
Does it look anything like this?

Think the second "feed" you're talking about is actually a fuel return. If it bogs down when throttle it then your A/F ratios are off. Probably dumping a bunch of fuel. If you have the engine under load and it doesn't seem to be pulling hard enough when you floor it then your secondaries may not be opening or not opening enough. Quadrajets have small primaries. If the secondaries don't open you'll have a big flat spot when you floor it.
