Anyone ever pull the harmonic balancer/crankshaft pulley on a 3.8L??

I cant figure out how to get the big 24mm bolt loosened. The crankshaft just spins, and I cant figure out how to hold the pulley. There are three holes, but they appear to be for a puller tool.

I'm trying to get to the crank sensor, behind the pulley on my 97 88.

Thanks

Easiest way is to get a socket and breaker bar. Wedge the breaker bar FIRMLY against a frame or chassis piece and "pop" the starter for just a second. The motor spins while the breaker bar holds the nut stationary. Make sure you have a balancer puller, too.
