Ok heres the deal.
I bought an Olds Omega about a month ago for $500. The car had sat for about 4 years since it was last running good, so i was told by the person whom i bought it from. The day i bought the car did run and I was able to get most of the way home, before it just stopped running. when i was driving it i noticed that when i tried to give the car acceleration it wouldnt respond. After a month of working on it, so much has been accomplished to the engine:
-brand new spark plugs, properlly gapped
-new distributor points (the old ones were completely shot)
-new distributor cap and distributor router
-gas tank was cleaned
-fuel pump was checked to make sure it was in running order
-new fuel filter
-oil was changed and a new oil filter was put in place
-new battery
after everything was changed and hooked up properlly, the car will not run. It does turn over but it will not start. Gas is getting into the carb and it wouldnt even go after quick start was sprayed into the carb.

Could anyone tell me if there is anything that could help me?

Sounds loke you've done all the right things so far.

Spark. I know you changed all that stuff...but is it sparking? Howzabout Ignition wires?
