Default Help dead delta

Hello all
I have a 1969 delta 88 convertible 350 rocket.
After 1/2 hour hot city driving engine / lights /radio and most electrics shut down. Engine is NOT overheating. 15-20 minutes electrics return and motor fires up. I have had it checked 3 times. New ground wires installed. Battery checked. Priest performed Gremlin exorcism-- no results please help

I have a 70 delta,I believe it has a fuseable link. There was a major body change in 1970, but look for it on the firewall. That think could be weak, and getting hot.

Thanks I'll check it out.
Does the fuseable link reset itself after it cools off?

What does the fuseable link look like?
Is it a square box about the size of a pack of cigarettes?

Much smaller. Follow the wire from the alternator/positive buss to the firewall, mine is on driver side next to the wiper motor. I took an image, but image shack is not working for me. I will try to post an image later.
