Cool Help finding gear ratio?

I have a 1978 Delta 88 with a blown rear end. I'm trying to replace it but cant figure out what gear ratio it is. I found the axle ring gear code "G89" The only thing i can find online about it is that it has a 7.5" ring gear, but no ratio. Does anyone know what the gear ratio is, or any suggestion's onto where to find it... Thank you and take care for now...

Best bet is to pull the cover and look at the ring gear. There will be markings on the outer edge telling you the number of teeth on both the ring and the pinion. Like 41:15 would be a 2.73.
