Identify this engine..
 

Am buying a nice 1986 Olds Regency 98..Clean, only 134K miles..Seller tells me the engine is NOT the original engine, been replaced. Does not look like the 3800 engines I've seen in my 4 other Olds/Buicks, '88-'89. It has a red circular "medallion" on top of engine, about the size of a half-dollar. On top it reads, "SEQUENTIAL" In the middle, a large "V-6"... on bottom "INJECTION"..Can anyone identify this engine, as to year, displacement, etc? Is it even an Olds engine, or maybe another GM engine? jimdawg60@gmail.com

Replying To Myself, for you to read..I've found a photo of the engine. Will try to post it here. Hope it works..I need to know the specs, year, etc. on this engine..It's in my "new" 1986 Olds 98 Regency, but am told it's NOT the original 1986 engine.
