Ignition Switch Problems
 

I own a 1998 olds cutlass and im having trouble with the ignition switch so i think. The key goes in just fine but it will no turn at all. The steering wheel is not locked and everything else is just fine. I tried using a key that i had made for the car when the car was new, thinking that it might be wearage on the key but it still doesnt turn. Any help or advice would be great! Thanks!

I assume you've tried wiggling the steering wheel while turning the key, and also try moving the gear shift.
If those don't help, I'd get some canned air like is used for cleaning computer keyboards or electronics, and blow the switch out. If that doesn't work, it is probably time for a new switch.
