1990 INTRIGUE; TO THE LEFT OF THE ( 2 ) ON THE TACHOMETER IS A RED LIGHT THAT COMES ON INTERMITTENTLY, LOOKS LIKE A COOLANT LEVEL LIGHT,SOMEBODY CHECK YOUR OWNERS MANUAL AND ADVISE,ALSO HOW TO MAKE LIGHT GO OUT.

I've had a similar situation on my '99 Intrigue since I had the cooling system flushed and drained last week; this never happened before; otherwise, the temp. gauge reads normal and there are no leaks or other types of evidence. I looked in the manual, but could not find an answer there; the light comes on a few seconds, repeats itself, then goes out; it doesn't just stay on. I thought it could be the sensor or the computer is misreading. The people who work on my car have always done satisfactory work. This situation has me baffled. Also, we're making a trip to Minnesota in a few weeks and if something is to be corrected, I would like to take care of it now if not sooner - Cheryl B. Montoya, Austin TX Edited by: gus edwards

I REPAIRED THIS PROBLEM MYSELF; AS I RECALL ON TOP OF THE THERMOSTADT HOUSING IS A RELEASE VALVE THAT ALLOW THE COOLANT SYSTEM TO BE BLED OF AIR, SIMPLY RELEASE VALVE JUST ENOUGH TO ALLOW A SMALL AMOUNT OF COOLANT TO BE DISCHARGED. FIXED MINE.. GOOD LUCK..
