Hey guys and girls. Names Carl, call me Carl . I've been a chevy man for a looong time. Getting ready to have a 78 CS. Just had a few questions for you guys maybe you can save me the time and trouble of finding the answers myself. So some Chevy engines 305, 350, 383, 400, 454. Basically If I want some serious horsepower what will drop in that car. How bout you guys give me the scoop on all the generals on the olds. The car I'm buying is a 260 so I know that one. Can you drop bigger engines in them with no frame work? (Like I said, I was alll chevy for a long time). Where do you guys and gals get your engine and mechanical parts for engine rebuilding etc? Where do you get your exterior parts? Thanks for great forum I'm sure all the knowledge I'll need of Oldsmobile is right here.
