Olds Bravada rear hatch/tailgate issue
Sorry for posting this in two locations but mine is the only post showing in the Bravada section so not too many people visiting there I would think.
I just purchase a 1996 Bravada from a dealer in as-is condition. I never bothered to open the rear hatch, just looked inside from doors and drove.
The next day I attempted to open the rear hatch and the window will not release. I have clicked the unlock with the key fab and I can hear it. If I put the key in the button hole I can also hear it when I turn either direction. I have pushed the button on the dash and again, I can hear the lock moving (locking and unlocking) but still nothing.
Does anyone know of an issue like this and what was done to resolve it?
Update - Also I notice when you push the button in to release the window, it only goes in about half of the distance that the button sticks out. Should this button be flush when you push it in to release the window? Maybe the button is just jammed because it does seem like the lock
is working???
Thanks for any help with this.
