Oldsmobile Achieva 1998 3.1 motor having an issue
 

Hi. We just bought my mom a 1998 Oldsmobile achieva with 67,000 miles. Having an issue with it so i joined the forum to hopefully get sone help.

we only had the car a few days. It ran fine then wouldnt start at a grocery store for my mom. We had it towed home. The next day i went out and it will start and run for a second or two then die? This car has the 3.1 v6. I put a fuel pressure gauge on it and im getting 35 lbs of pressure I was going to change the fuel filter figured it needed it anyway but would think that wouldn't fix the issue. I researched it could be a lot of things. Im hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction. Or at least where to start and not go
