Hello Everyone,


I recently purchased a 2002 Alero to save on gas, so far so good (vs driving my gmc 4x4 @12 mpg. I also have a 93 cutlass supreme convertable and here is the problem. My wife..no not my wife (though sometime's she is) anyway she put the top down one day and it would not go down all the way, so instead of putting it back up she tried again. I asked if she heard something pop and sure enough she said yes. I thought she broke the hydraulic rod in half but upon further inspection she snapped the top part in half. Now to describe this part. It is gold and looks like the end of a closed ended wrench. It bolts to the frame and has threads that screw onto the top of the hydraulic rod, the problem is were can I get this part, or find it? Most GM dealers dont carry to many parts for this year anymore. If you need pics I can email them to you. Any help would be helpful and thank you in advance.
