Default replaced door and now car won't start

i got into an accident a few weeks ago with my 96 ciera sl. another car came head on to the rear driver side door, pretty close to the fuel tank. I was able to drive the car home and it was running fine but door was really banged up. found a replacement door and replaced, electrics and all, but now the car won't start.

checked the fuses so don't think that's what's going wrong. when trying to start it seems so close to getting there but won't. did a lot of banging near the fuel tank when replacing door, maybe problem lies there?

any suggestions gladly welcome.

I take it from what you say that the engine does crank? You need to determine whether the problem is fuel or spark and then go from there.
