I'm building a Special with a 455 engine and Hydra-Matic 400 transmission from a 1976 Olds 98. Unfortunately I've mislaid the dipstick for the transmission. As I've had to shorten the tube I'll be making a new dipstick but I do needits measurements. Can anyone tell me the distances from the top of the tube down to the oil level marks?They will be around 27 inches. I posted this question on the 98 Forum but haven't had any replies soI'm hoping for a better response here. Thanks in anticipation.
