will the intake off of an 80 olds 350 bolt up in place of a 88 olds 350? the previous owner had a different engine install into a 1980 olds and from what i can tell the intake is a a5 aluminum intake out of an 88 olds so i was thinking of putting the intake off of an 1980 on the olds 350. the only no. i can find is a short no. between the oil pressure switch and fill tube but i was told it was a date code the no. is 4790 gm the intake no is 2252821 i am thinking the whole engine is post85 but the guy that installed passed away a while ago.

 

the no. off the drivers side valve cover reads 0129424 it had some bar codes but i can't read them
