1999 intrigue 3.5 liter tapping noise

I have a 1999 oldsmobile intrigue gl 3.5 liter and after it warms up the engine makes a tapping sound and as the car gets hotter the tapping gets louder.Reving the engine makes a rattling noise.Sure hope someone can help me.Thanks
