The AC light on my 98 Intrigue ocassionally flashes off and on and the coolness goes with it. I can sometimes get it on by touching the switch, so it really seems like a bad switch/connection. Mr. Goodwrench charged me $93 to say I needed an AC control head for $645 installed. I hate to pay that if its a loose connection but am not sure how to get in there and check the switch and control head connection. I would also consider installing an aftermarket or salvage lot control head if needed. Either way, I need some help if someone knows how to access these (remove dash?-HOW?). The systemcools great when the switch/light stays on. Could someone please give me some advice and direction?Thanks-Bill

 

DOES YOUR OLDSMOBILE HAVE AUTO CLIMATE CONTROL? I HAVE A CONTROL FROM A 1999 INTRIGUE THAT I AM SURE IS IN GOOD CONDITION.
