I am new to this group and I'm hoping someone might be able to offer some advice.


I have a 2002 Olds Intrigue and every so often the climate controls just cut in andout. Lately it's been getting worse and worse and most of the time I can't control it. It's digital and lights up, but the temp or fan speed doesn't change when I press the buttons. I can't even turn the vent on or off to as that is digital. The temperature doesn't show up either. These nice little bells and whistles are a nuisance!

I HAD A 1999 INTRIGUE WITH THE SAME SYSTEM YOU ARE DESCRIBING. AFTER REPLACING THE CONTROL PANEL WITH NO POSITIVE RESULTS I THEN REPLACED THE AMBIANT SENSOR AND THE SYSTEM WAS PERFECT. COST $20 BUCKS FROM GM. I WOULD ADVISE THIS FIX FIRST BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE MORE COSTLY. OH YEAH YOU CAN INSTALL THIS YOURSELF WITH ALMOST NO TOOLS.
