new member. Have a 98 with about 122k on it. It''s the family "lifeboat" Was intermitently missing had it on an OBD and diagnosed misfire cylinder 4. Had the coil checked and well within specs. Was going to check plug and wires but drove one day and it got really bad, missing like crazy, check engine flashing, Limped home and parked for about 3 weeks

Was going to start playing last weekend but completely dead, put on charger overnight still absolutely nothing. No interior lights, dash idiot lights or anything. Battery is new so don''t think that;s what it is but don''t know where to start.

Any ideas? Appreciate any help/suggestions

What do the battery cables look like? I would check the negitive cable to make sure the ground is good.

I feel like your cartoon''s father D''uh. That''s what it was. I jumped to worse case scenario right away instead of checking out the simple stuff first.

thanks
