Hi. I recently hit a deer with my wife''s intrigue and it knocked the headlight around a bit. At first, the light still worked, which was quite amazing to me, but there was a big crack/hole in the plastic. Anyway, a few days later, the headlight went out. I went to get it replaced and had it tested, and there is no ''juice'' coming to the bulb now. I''m not sure where to start diagnosing the problem and before I drop 70 bucks on an OEM headlight assembly, I''d like to make sure that''s my problem. Any ideas on how/where to test to pinpoint the problem? Any help is GREATLY appreciated since we can''t drive her car at night now

Well, it sounds like you''re going to need a headlight assembly anyway. Putting a new lamp in a cracked/broken assembly isn''t going to work for long. The lamp should have 12v on the DK Blu wire (Low beam) & 12v on Pink wire (high beam). Does the lamp light on high beam? You can swap bulb from L to R to check if bulb is good.
First place to start diagnosis is with fuses.

Thanks Corky. I checked fuses and they all seem fine. I''m not sure if maybe a wire got unplugged or if I just need to replace the assembly completely. I''ll start with your advice and try to see if I can''t get something working.
Thanks again!
