Please Help!My keyless entry receiver on my 99 Intrigue needs repaired, but after going to 2 diffrent olds dealers and asking for the location, they told me to look in 2 diffrent locations, none of which were correct.. I would like to find the reciver so I can remove it and get it repaired or replace it...I'm out of Ideas, and I'm tired of having to close my trunck all the time... Thanks

My keyless entry is still working so when I do click on the
remote I can hear it going on and off. I think I have found
it. I have a 2000 Intrigue GX. It's right above the e brake
pedal. A black plasitc looking box. Hope that helps.

The remote control door lock receiver is located in a central positionunder the dash. You have to remove the instrument panel upper trim to get to it. This modulle programs the transmitter and operates the trunk directly but sends all other door lock/unlock commands to another module called the BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) which actually carries out the function of actually locking or unlocking the door.
