Stearing wheel clunk
What is it that makes the clunking feel in the stearing wheel and pedels of these cars? I have a 01 with 93k and it has been doing this for a while.< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-46";

It is when you speed up and slow down. It doesnot do it when you turn, just when speeding up and slowing down. You can feel it in the pedals also.< src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-46";

This is what happens when the Universal Joint for the steering shaft loses its lubrication. I have fixed two of these problems on two intrigues. Get some spray lube, something thick like Krown Rust Control or Rust Check lubricant and pull the boot down on the steering column above the brake pedal and spray the heck out of it. It'll stop clunking after a few drives with the new lube in it. This came from a GM dealer nearby.
