I have a '64 F-85 Deluxe, basically a 4 door Cutlass. It has the 225 V6 motor and a powerglide tranny, all original with 67K on it. I took the drive shaft to a local garage to have new u-joints installed on both ends. The correct u-joints do not seem to exist! The mechanic has tried many different suppliers, but all the u-joints have been too big. He thinks that the drive shaft has been changed, but I know it has not! This car is 100% factory original from the original owner. Any ideas? Thanks! |
