67. 442 more horsepower

I have a 1967 442 convertible that is completely original. Whatever I do to the car, I want to be able to come back to original in the future. What is the best way to get more horsepower and better mileage like the newer muscle cars ? I don’t care that much about top end speed, but I want to be able to burn the tires. Any recommendations on EFI ? I would also like a suspension that I could raise or lower the ride height ( nothing drastic) like jumping off the ground.
i am 72 and I just want to have a little fun riding around with my 59 yr old trophy-wife.

Start with headers from Mondello, EFI, like a Holley Sniper, go to there web site for more info, go to Yearone they have suspension kits and go to atleast 3.55 gearing. if you have a 4 speed you should be able to spin tires now! you can also go to a hotter cam for your engine!
