I''ve had a 71 Cutlass Sfor 9 years. Currently it is almost finished, but I have been unable to finish it due to me going to school and getting a job away from home. I hope to get it finished whenever I can get myself a garage and haul it up here!! It is my first car, I bought it when I was 14. Loved only slightly more than the 79 Camaro I had to let go this summer.
Engine: 350, ported heads and intake, 3 angle valve job, roller tip rockers, milled the bottom of the heads for about a 9.5:1 compression, headers, exhaust, upgraded ignition. No dyno pulls yet...sorry (besides, stock oil system kind of scares me at high RPMs, but then again, maybe blowing it up on the dyno might be agood excuse to drop a big block in it)
Drive train: Stock TH350 and 2.73 open rear(peg-legged burnouts are always fun). Maybe some day a 6-speed and a 4.10.
Body: Currently primer gray, but the color coat is already purchased, 73 corvette blue-dark navy blue with a touch of purple. Paint code 27 for you GM know it alls...you know who you are. Stock S hood and no spoiler, no bumper cut outs.
Rims-Yet to purchase, I like the after market SS1''s, though. I like the grey color on the SS2''s, too.
Interior: Black-stock buckets. (Original cloth interior call-original interior was long gone, though) Finished but sitting in the basement. Its been sitting there so long the mice might have eaten a hole in the door panels!
