better rear end gears, Headers, HEI dist set up, true duals, would be some bolt on upgrades.

I have shorty headers
I already have true duals

but I'm looking for a whole lot of power and I'm not trying to spend a whole lot of money

should I delete the cats by doing that would
I get more horses or lose horses

Evan's 85 10-24-2012 10:16 AM

I would take them off personally, you'll gain anywhere from 5-10hp. Putting in lower gears in the rear end will wake it up on take off as well.

Cheap. Fast. Reliable.

Pick any two.

Its all about scavaging, you need it to breath, I would suggest going with a Cam and lifters, do the rear end as others have suggested. You need a full match, that means, carb, headers, cam and a great rear gear. The rear gear depends upon if you want a street and highway or stictly kill the hondas in town.
