I have a 88 Olds Cutlass Ciera with a Quad 4 auto trans. It is the regular Quad 4 with about 145hp IIRC. The car was 'tapped' in the right rear and the insurance company totaled it. I thought about putting it in an 84 Fiero I had but I have since gotten rid of that. If no one wants this in the next week or so, it gets donated to the local fire company for 'jaws of life' practice. Car has about 80K and ran fine when parked two years ago. The only thing missing from the car is the dash pod that I took for a dash change in another Fiero. Car is located in Gilbertsville, PA about 4 miles north of Pottstown, about 45 miles west of Philly. The car has a salvage title</font> |
and the roof is cut open?
|
Not until after the fire company gets it.
|
im not sure that i follow...

They use the jaws of life to open the car to remove people from the
interior. This car was only 'tapped' in the right rear. It has not had the JOL used on it but they will when they practice with it and then they'll scrap it. |
If I still lived in PA I would be all over it for a winter car. I recently moved from pittsburgh to NC so now there isn't much of a need for a winter car. However, a little OT, I must envy you for living so close to Pottstown, the home of yuengling....mmmmmm |
another yuengling fan! nice!! recently here in detroit, there is a new "trendy beer"...it comes in a metal bottle...thats right...iron city.. and would you believe that its 8 bucks a six pack here!!! |
I get a case of the iron aluminum bottles everytime i go back to the 'burgh. its a shame they filed bankruptcy though...i think they'll still be around for awhile tho
