Default New to the olds world

I have always been a chevy guy but just purchased my new project, a 63' starfire. Was looking for an impala/biscayne/belair and stumbled upon a rust free all original running 63 olds. Here in Michigan you dont see any of these running around so I thought it would be nice to be different. I already have it mostly apart and should have it in new paint by the end of June (local cruise date). Anyways Im sure Ill have some parts questions and I look forward to being part of the group.

thanks,
Scott Goss Rockwood Michigan

Rust free? Must have been kept in a plastic wrapper the last 40 years, great find! A guy on the next block has a Starfire as a daily driver.

Yeah I got pretty lucky with this one. Car came from S.Dakota and was plated and driven last in 1998. So far so good even under the rocker strip is solid as a rock and the floors look as new as they did the day it was born. I'll try to get some pics up soon.
