Olds lover

I have two Oldsmobiles.
The first is a ''63 Starfire Coupe that has not run properly since I bought it in 2005. It looks good but that is all. A frustration. The transmission holds the gears for a long time before shifting from start. The engine is noisy but the exhaust system has been redone. It seems to struggle and it shouldn''t. This is a powerful car. I think it was run into the ground by the owners before me.
The second is a ''59 98 four door hardtop. It is virtually unrestored and runs beautifully. It has factory air that we are getting ready to work. It gets tons of attention. It runs whisper quiet and shifts perfectly. A total joy.
