Default Olds Omega 455 BB

I have an 73' Oldsmobile Omega that has been in the family since 75', I acquired it from my grandmother in 86'. It is a Rocket 350 car with AC, I rebuilt the 350 in 92' since then I have put let than 3000 miles on the motor. I just recently place a 455 that we rebuilt in the car, to do so had to make some modifications one was to remove the AC and the other was to grid the power steering box a bit to get the motor to sit properly, when we fire the engine in the car and tried to drive it the power steering leaked where i ground too much from the cap. We removed the cap and was able to obtain a used wine with the same casting number, but the insert was a little long so we had to grind it to match the original one, now when you drive it the steering is just a little funny, looking for some advice. The 455 only weighs 80-100 lbs more that the original 350 so I don't weight is an issue, i will say that the front end parts are all original other than the new springs and shocks I installed two years before the 455 was installed. I will say this motor is really powerful, and fast. Looking to find some people to chat with about possible solutions.

Thanks,

Kevin
