Questions about the Alero

I found a 2001 Alero GLS for $7500. It only has 55k on it and my wife loves it. Has anyone had any serious issues with these cars? I have a modded out Pontiac GTP and I'm pretty sure the 3.4L aren't that different. Any advice before I walk away with this thing tomorrow? Thanks.
