Ralph w/Old Timers Autos in Seasrport, Maine
Hello all,
(Mis-spelling in title: Seasrport = Searsport) Just joined for a couple of reasons. First, let me introduce myself. I, and my wonderful wife, Alina, are antique auto enthusiasts who, in our 50s, are pursuing this interest as much as possible. A reason for joining is to get more involved with the community. We are members of AACA and several other, more make/model-specific cars. Another reason for joining. I may be able to offer a service: I am currently a laid-off offshore oil drilling industry, merchant mariner who now hauls cars through out the 48 states with my 4-car Wally-Mo and 1-ton dually Ram 3500. Yet another reason for joining, the BIG one: We also, have recently been offered an opportunity to obtain some land and a newly build shop to do car restoration here in mid-coast Maine. Along with that opportunity, we have cars to work on. We are beginning work on one of them. It is a 1941 Oldsmobile 4-door Series 76 in pretty good shape albeit with some rust issues. Among other cars we have in the waiting area are: 1959 Nash Metropolitan, hardtop (might be parted out) 1955 Buick Century 2-door hardtop 1955 Packard Clipper 4-door 1956 Packard Four Hundred 2-door hardtop 1963 Chrysler "Pacesetter" 1966 Dodge Charger 1927 Peerless Series Six-80 a couple of spitfires, 1971s, I believe Well that's about it for now. I'll post some images of the current project and needs that maybe someone can help us find sources for. Ralph and Alina M Bohm |
