my name is dan im from kansas city missouri. my ride is a 1982 buick riviera with olds 307 ycode motor and im not sure what tranny it is a front wheel drive car. i want to make a little bit of power gains so i was thinking of swapping a 403 inplace of the 307. and as for the gears can they be replaced on a tranny that is on a front wheel drive car i would want to get some 3.73 final drive gears. please give your advice and please dont say you should have got somthing else because i just love this car. i just want to spice the performance up a little bit, want to be a little quicker through shifts and a little bit more bite from the engine thanks, give me a list of things you would do if you where in my situation thanks every body.
