I've sorted my oil pressure problem. See the Engine forum if you're interested in more info. Now I have a request. Can someone tell me the length of the transmission dipstick? I'm after the length from where it sits on the top of the tube to the high level and low level marks. They'll be around 27 inches. My dipstick has been mislaid sometime in the last 11 years during the building of my Special andas I'veshortened the tube I'll be making a new dipstick to suit.I think it's the "400" transmission I have.(It's on the "455" engine), but would assume all 98s have the same. Thanks in anticipation.
