1962 Dynamic brake and tranny issues
 

Hi, I am new here. My 62 dynamic brakes are not good. They say I need a new power brake booster. You can hear a whooshing sound when applying brakes. I am having a tough time finding a new or rebuilt booster. Will a 65 booster work in my car? Also, my auto transmission will not shift into high. Any thoughts. I would like to sell this car. She is a rag top.

The power brake booster can be rebuilt. Cost is $200, give or take. Try Brake Mat'ls. & Parts out of Ft. Wayne, IN. I used. and recommend, them!
