1966 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Convertible. I purchased it with a blown motor and the owner told me it was good. My stupid mistake. I rebuilt a different engine a 455ci bought from an editor of Car Craft Magazine. Just got it running and runs great. Still need to finish odds and ends like wiring up the factory tach and brake booster. I planned on keeping it to work on but do not have the space and cannot keep it in the storage place I had it. I rebuilt the engine that had been rebuilt 3-4000miles previous (according to that owner). I have old 455 engine in pieces for sale too with stand. I can send photos of new engine, it's all new paint including all brackets and the entire underhood compartment. The title is good but it is a Washington state title, according to the DMV it would cost a little under $300 to get it registered until August. Trans seems good, shifts fine. I have driven it some. Replaced master cylinder, and one brake cylinder. Have new shoes in the box too. The top is fairly new with real glass in the back. No major issues except the interior is very rough. some carpet left and two small cracks in the dash. All of the trim is there just the leather and carpeting need to be addressed. Heater core seems to be working, it has power everything (including steering and brakes and they work), but power top motor is missing. paint is good but peeling in some places and clear coat peeling on hood. There is body rust in one spot on the driver's door and another much bigger spot on right rear quarter panel. tires are good and there are no other major issues. Driven some with moderate play in the steering wheel and nothing unusual with the way it drives.
